Terry Barnes is an author and writer, covering the spectrum from literary fiction to academia. His first novel, In Everything Give Thanks, won the Christian Writers Guild First Novel Contest and was published by Tyndale House (2007). He has also published Whispered to the Heart (Liberty University Press, 2012), and the novella, As the Leaves Kiss the Stream (eLectio Publishing, 2016). His other writing includes short stories as well as academic articles.
He is also an adjunct professor of religion and has taught online classes for two universities. His classes include surveys of world religions and worldview studies.
He currently lives in the Midwest along with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
